The Diagnosis and Management of Plant Pathogens course focuses on disease management. Attendees will be enabled to identify and evaluate disease and pathogens that effect plants as well as the best methods to deal with them. This course is tailored for agronomists, plant breeders and crop protection professionals.

Assignment 1 is a critical appraisal of a diagnostic assay and Assignment 2 is based around the topic of disease management in plants. Both will be launched during the taught week’s delivery and the submission will be not less than five weeks later based upon workload scheduling across the course programme. This is to assure that there is sufficient time between launch of the Diagnosis and Management of Plant Pathogens course and submission to meet the time guide requirements associated with the assessment components. Both assignments are worth 50% of the total marks .
