The AgriFood Training Partnership are looking forward to exhibiting our courses and showcasing training opportunities at the ‘Food Matters Live’ event, which will be taking place at the ExCeL Exhibition Centre in London’s Docklands from Tuesday 21st – Thursday 23rd November 2017.
The event is now in its fourth year and is expected to be bigger and more exciting than ever before, with over 300 expert speakers taking part in 80 seminar sessions across the three days, with topics including the ‘Future of food retail’, ‘Tackling obesity’ and ‘Nutrition for health and wellbeing’.
The main event – the Food Matters Live Conference – will be taking place at the centre of the show and features over 50 influential figures including new food innovators, business leaders from across the food and drink industry, government ministers, scientists, renowned chefs, leading commentators and health professionals - in a series of thought-provoking debates to inspire, challenge assumptions, explore new ways of working and foster innovation.
Keynote speakers at the Main Conference will include:
- Justin King, the former CEO of Sainsbury’s, who will be sharing his views on successful leadership and the opportunities and challenges for the future of food retail.
- Heston Blumenthal, the award-winning influential chef who will discuss his mission to enthuse the next generation about food science, cookery and nutrition.
- Susan Greenfield, one of the world’s leading authorities in neuroscience, who will explore the relationship between creativity, brands and neuroscience.
Over 800 organisations will be exhibiting at the event, including: ingredients suppliers; food and drink manufacturers; foodservice providers and research and academic institutions, with each helping to highlight the important role that every part of the food, drink and nutrition sector plays in developing healthy and 'better for you' food and drink.

We will also be exhibiting our courses at further events on Weds 15th November, including; The Hutchinsons Winter Technical Farmer Conference at the Kingsgate Conference Centre in Peterborough, which will focus on the topic of ‘Sustainable Productivity’ and AgriScot at the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh, now widely regarded as one of the premier events in UK agriculture, which hosts over 240 trade stands exhibiting a wide variety of products, services and advice covering every aspect of agriculture. We will be exhibiting at AgriScot as part of the Germinal stand.
